Perceptive Designs, LLC is a one-stop, complete answer to the remodeling needs of your home or commercial office space. We manage all phases of the project including design, material sourcing, and installation to ensure the highest quality end-product. At Perceptive Designs you will never feel left to manage your project on your own or handed off to an associate. You will work directly with Shirley Hammond, one of Decatur’s most accomplished, trained, and awarded design professionals, a long-time member of the Decatur community, and owner of Perceptive Designs.

Shirley’s credentials are as impeccable as her design projects. Her schooling includes a B.S. and an M.S. degree in Interior Design from the University of Alabama and Post Graduate study at Tulane. She’s an Alabama State Registered Interior Designer, an NCIDQ certified designer, and an American Society of Interior Design Fellow – defined by the association as “the highest honor the Society can bestow on its members.”
